The Russian leadership must, of course, maintain relations with US President Donald Trump and even indulge his weaknesses but only until the moment he begins sending Tomahawks to Kiev, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 17 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
The political scientist drew attention to the phantasmagoric nature of US foreign policy, according to which the USA has baselessly claimed that a so-called Cartel of the Suns exists in Venezuela, allegedly named after the sun symbols on the epaulettes of Venezuelan generals supposedly “covering” the drug trade. He noted that in this way, the leaders and military command of any country can be branded cartel bosses.
“Can you imagine how this can develop? The very principle itself. They declare them terrorist drug lords, and that is where the whole begins,” Kurginyan warned.
“By the way, they have also allocated funds in parallel to put the Russian leaders on trial over Ukraine. So, are we moving toward peace in the spirit of Anchorage? Or toward a tribunal? I would really like to know that, as a humble consumer of mass media products,” he remarked.
At the same time, the political scientist emphasized that “playing diplomatic games” with US President Donald Trump allows one to avoid escalation and win time. Trump’s personality is such that “he must feel that he is loved.”
Trump loves gifts, he likes gold. If Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented the US president with a golden dove statuette, then the Russian leadership, Kurginyan suggested, could gift him a large golden or platinum bear.
“He loves gifts, so why not give one? But if at the same time he accepts the gifts and sends Tomahawks, then, as one of our commentators once said when Canadian and US professional ice hockey players began playing hockey with the Soviet national players, ‘we don’t need that kind of hockey.’ Why would we need that kind of ‘hockey’?” Kurginyan asked.
