Kurginyan explains why the West insists on immediate agreements on Ukraine

The West insists on immediate agreements on the Ukrainian conflict because it wants to deploy its troops there, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on September 20 on the Right to Know program on TV Center.

The political scientist noted that we should understand what a diplomatic resolution to the Ukrainian conflict can mean.

Having noted that he does not equalize his own point of view with anyone else’s, Sergey Kurginyan said, “Whatever the officials say, they know better… In my simple grassroots language it can be put simple: until Kharkov and Odessa are not ours, the Russians cannot stop the war, first of all.”

Kurginyan stressed that the Russian authorities seek to prevent any foreign troops from entering Ukraine. However, according to him, if any agreements are now signed, the troops will nevertheless enter.

“Why are they so persistent to force an immediate deal? Because they want to immediately deploy their army there. There is no other idea. They want to make fools of the Russians,” he explained, and he noted that the West will deploy its army in spite of Russia’s statements that it will not allow that to happen.
