China outplayed the US due to a combination of three factors: former secretary of state Henry Kissinger’s formula of friendship with China against the USSR, the laws of capital, and the inability of the American population to work, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on September 5 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
In early 1970s, US President Richard Nixon’s right-hand man Henry Kissinger initiated convergence with China to confront the Soviet Union. This was a fatal mistake because China offered the US its disciplined, cheap, multi-million labor force.
Capital, which always seeks to maximize its profits, readily moved its facilities from the US to China. China began to rapidly develop.
“And the Chinese smiled and nodded their head saying that everything was wonderful. Most importantly, the Americans seek globalism, so let it be globalism, i.e. no borders, no tariffs, free trade etc. But if we check the level of globalization, before World War One it was almost the same as in 2005,” Kurginyan explained.
These two factors, i.e. the alliance of the US with China against the USSR and the migration of industry from the US to China, were aggravated by a third factor, i.e. the condition of the American population.
According to Kurginyan, a society can look like a strong race horse, which can get the politician off any moment, or it can look like a weak horse. In order to secure their power, the elites deliberately loosened their population, both American and late-Soviet.
“If you loosen it all it will not be able to oppose you. Here, be it Brezhnev or another period much closer to us, or the Americans, or anything else – you have to choose the way you will govern: whether you will be riding a weak horse or a strong race horse. Thus, the American population was transformed into a weak horse,” Kurginyan told.
However, a relaxed, overfed, narcotized population cannot work as it did 100 or 70 years ago. America cannot be made great again with this kind of a population.
Kurginyan told what Stalin answered to Mao Zedong when he asked what the most important thing was in the life of the people in China and in the USSR. “The most important thing is that the people must work,” Stalin answered.
“I was very, very young then, and it seemed to me that this was a silly phrase or that he [Stalin] was kidding. But now I understand that this was a very wise phrase. Because the American people, having been transformed from a race horse into a weak horse, are unable and unwilling to work. And this is a constant!” Kurginyan said.
And this means that the population of China, Vietnam, India works instead of the American people. As a result, China began to benefit from globalization.
“This is where Kissinger’s idiocy combined with the idiocy of capital and all these hippies and the drug addiction of their own overfed population etc. It combined,” Kurginyan said.
“Finally, the Americans realized that they were outplayed! That all this obedience, smiles, ‘welcome, welcome, come here, we will give you cheaper labor, we are so nice’ etc. resulted in the fact that China is now in this globalization, which, the US believed, belonged to it. What Xí Jìnpíng keeps saying? Hands off globalization, because China is winning in it. It is good for them!” he explained.
