The Special Military Operation in Ukraine became possible due to the fact that China realized that the US declared war on it, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on September 5 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
The US cannot afford losing its global leadership and becoming number two power, because in this case it will face problems as the American population has become used to a comfortable life, and it will protest if its living standards drop seriously. Therefore, the US will use any means to defeat China, which is catching up with the US in many aspects.
Kurginyan indicated that a special convergence between Russia and China began after the US declared China an enemy for winning the race for global leadership within globalization, which was initially a project of the US, and the US was sure it would win in globalization.
“It [the convergence between Russia and China] is a consequence of the war that the US declared on China, because it had to declare it. It has to either die or fight one way or another. And it fights,” the political scientist stressed.
Sergey Kurginyan indicated that it became clear to the Chinese only approximately in 2020, although there were many signs before. “When they finally understood this completely, another global configuration became possible,” he noted.
“This possibility was one of the components of the multi-dimensional phenomenon that we call SMO,” the philosopher said. According to him, Russia was deeply involved in the international division of labor, and it was clear that if Russia’s sales were stopped they would have to be redirected elsewhere.
“A precise understanding came, after the Olympiad etc., that the Chinese had realized what their interest was,” the expert explained. “When this feeling came, we got our hands somewhat untied for action,” he concluded.
