Kurginyan explains why Western elites spoiled their population

The Western capitalist elites have spoiled their population to prevent it from threatening their power, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on September 5 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.

“The US elites spoiled their population. If you want to have a fiery strong horse to win a race you must know that this horse, if you are a moderately skilled rider, can get you off, but if you ride a weak horse it cannot get you off,” Kurginyan explained the logic of these elites.

These elites always face a question what kind of a population they want to have, “like a fiery horse or like a weak horse, knowing that a fiery horse can get you off,” the political scientist noted.

Kurginyan indicated that in 1960s the US-led global capitalism decided to transform its race horse into a weak horse to have more comfortable governance. “Drugs, hippies, debauchery, rights of ethnic groups. Anything that can gradually transform it into a weak horse,” the philosopher described this strategy.

“Thus it was transformed into an overfed, minimally languid horse,” the philosopher said. He referred to the film “Rambo: First Blood” that he finds talented. In this film, a soldier comes back from Vietnam to the US, and “he begins to do whatever he wants with it,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.

“This American population has been spoiled, tranquilized, and made obedient and compliant, and of course it has been transformed into a weak horse,” the philosopher said.
