To make America or Russia great again, it is necessary to get rid of hedonism, political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on August 8 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
Chinese President Xi Jingping had realized that “the situation was getting too relaxed” and began to tighten the screws on the residents of his country, Sergey Kurginyan pointed out.
“Get rid of hedonism, get rid of all this nice and sweet talk about prosperity. No one is saying that one needs to starve or tighten ones belt. But, get rid of this cooing with a part of the electorate to whom one says: ‘Have fun!’ These cries about how Russians only must have fun <…> And tighten up the screws,” the political scientist explained.
The US can restore its greatness in a similar way by ignoring the criticism from certain social groups. “You won’t make it great without a dictatorship. There must be someone like Julius Caesar, not Donald Trump!” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.
He explained that Trump would need to transition into the ascetic mode, something Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the US president from 1933 to 1945, did. And the latter had this opportunity because the country was experiencing a severe crisis.
“Roosevelt switched to it because everything collapsed! There was already a crisis! And he began to normalize the situation. He couldn’t have come to power by reducing consumption observed under Coolidge or Hoover. He had to come to power when the situation was ripe – the country was thrown into crisis,” the political scientist explained.
Sergey Kurginyan added that the true masters, those who control the process, understand this. They realize that in the US everything must first collapse, then the country needs to be stabilized, and then rebuilt. And this must be done by a very tough leader.
“This is what the real masters of the global process are thinking about, not Trump or anyone like him. Those who need to preserve the US do not need a show and posing of a charming eccentric. They need a person with even greater toughness than the world’s most famous dictators. Someone who has a team that will do anything to accomplish the necessary results,” the political scientist emphasized.
