The West is preparing for a long and difficult war against Russia, and the core of this major war will be Ukraine, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on August 8 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
The political scientist noted that the current talks aimed at stopping the conflict in Ukraine look like “what do we say when we have nothing to say.”
He explained that when a serious conversation begins we will have to acknowledge that “an anti-Russian Ukraine and Russia cannot exist together, so they will resolve the problem of their relations appropriately; otherwise, we have to surrender and get all those NATO missiles at a fly-in time that will be very difficult to deal with.”
Sergey Kurginyan stressed that Europe is preparing a major anti-Russian war, but it will not begin all at once.
“Ukraine is the core of the future major anti-Russian war. This is only the core that is being prepared. Until around this core 5-7 more components gather (both minor ones like the Baltic States or Romania and quite large ones, i.e. Polish and, primarily, the ones to the south and to the east of us), no major anti-Russian war can happen. It will remain a medium-sized, dangerous, extremely difficult, but still a minor war. A major one is still being prepared, and everyone discusses it,” the political scientist explained.
He noted that this delay is due to the fact that our enemies need more time to get prepared.
“It requires a huge re-grouping of forces. They apparently plan to make it conventional. Otherwise why would they need so many shells, armored vehicles etc.? It definitely must be conventional, without quick exchange of strikes,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
The political scientist indicated one more factor: in addition to superiority in weapons, our enemies want to have superiority in manpower.
“But they are preparing for a hard land war, in which superiority in population must eventually belong not to Russia but to a collective enemy formed by the best prepared states. The core will be Ukraine in any event. Their goal is to permanently defeat our Motherland, which they call ‘beast,’” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
He noted that various versions of timeframe for such a war are discussed: 2027, or 2028, or 2029.
“Of course, they are bluffing to some extent, because they need to explain to their population what it is about and why their life if getting worse. But it is not only bluffing! No one initiates zero cycle construction works for major plants just for bluffing,” the political scientist explained.
