Individuals who came into politics essentially from television studios and the intellectuals from Silicon Valley became the core of the movement that ensured victory in the presidential elections for Donald Trump, political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on July 11 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
“Trumpism had to lay out an impressive electoral core that is capable of holding elections in these insane United States of America, where elections have become sheer political technology,” the political scientist emphasized. He explained that this electoral core, “capable of achieving an electoral victory, not just grumbling,” has two driving forces.
“The first force consists of politicians who have been rooted in the public relations industry. Those who have become politicians, essentially, after they left TV studios,” Kurginyan explained. These are the politicians who are accustomed to winning over an audience during a show, the expert noted.
Trump himself, his Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and many others belong to this group, the political scientist noted. “These people come from PR industry. They came from TV studios or some internet companies,” the philosopher emphasized.
Kurginyan recalled that when Trump was trashing the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, he looked at his Vice President J.D. Vance and told him, “Great television.”
He views everything through the lens of how it will look on television. They are all mass media people. They are very deeply involved in the technology and practice of mass media,” the political scientist emphasized.
“And the second force consists of Silicon Valley intellectuals, who, again, were deeply involved in the mass media, and in addition, they were at a conceptually advanced level,” Kurginyan explained.
The philosopher noted that, these two forces coming together “became a multifaceted, two-pillar core of the electoral process, which performed the miracle for Trump’s second coming to power.” Kurginyan emphasized that “after this miracle happened – Trump has absolutely lost his mind.”
