Working with young people is a combat mission, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the opening of youth centers in Russian regions on June 28.
A young woman from Novy Urengoy reported that her husband is fighting in a special military operation. The president acknowledged the family’s dedication, noting that “everyone is fulfilling their combat mission in their own way.”
“This is truly one of the most important tasks of the country — maintaining the necessary level of influence on young people, on their perception of the environment and the past, the heroic historical past, present, and future of the country,” Putin said.
The president noted that Russia’s future is only possible with active work with young people.
