Russian soldiers liberates two villages in DPR

The Russian Armed Forces liberated two villages in the Donetsk People’s Republic — Novosergeyevka and Shevchenko — according to a report from Russia’s Defense Ministry on June 26.

The statement also noted that within the past 24 hours, key Ukrainian military assets were destroyed, including air defense radar stations, UAV production facilities, ammunition depots, and drone storage sites.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry’s briefing:

  • The Group of Forces Tsentr liberated Novosergeyevka and continues to advance, having inflicted losses on personnel and equipment across several Ukrainian brigades.

  • The Group of Forces Vostok liberated Shevchenko, eliminating over 200 Ukrainian militants and destroying military equipment.

  • The Group of Forces Sever struck targets in Sumy Region, killing up to 185 militants, destroying armored fighting vehicle, nine vehicles, and six artillery pieces, including a British FH70 howitzer.

  • The Group of Forces Zapad attacked three Ukrainian brigades, eliminating 240 militantsl, a tank, five armored personnel carriers (APCs), and three electronic warfare stations.

  • The Group of Force Yug attacked enemy near Seversk and Chasov Yar, killing up to 170 militants, and destroying two AFVs and an US M114 howitzer.

  • The Group of Force Dnepr improved its tactical positions, eliminating 75 Ukrainian fighters, eight vehicles, and a US AN/TPQ-50 radar.

In addition, Russian aviation and artillery struck 152 temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian and mercenary deployment over the past 24 hours. Air defense systems downed 205 enemy fixed-wing UAVs.
