The USSR was dismantled under the pretext that the communist system was unreformable and incapable of renewal, and that capitalism was the only alternative. However, it is clear now that China and Vietnam are developing, while in the USA, certain forces are suggesting a shift from capitalism to techno-feudalism, political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 16 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
Kurginyan recalled that according to the results of the 1991 referendum on the preservation of the USSR, the majority expressed a desire to live in a renewed Soviet Union. The political scientist emphasized that the USSR should have been reformed but instead, it was declared that “communism is an unreformable ideology.”
“This ideology was very deeply rooted in the Soviet Union. So ‘if we want to accomplish any results, let’s dismantle everything, because it is impossible to develop under communism’,” the philosopher described the essence of the position that authorities who destroyed the USSR had in mind.
“Tell [this] to Xi Jinping or the North Korean leader, who are now our friends, that communism is an unreformable ideology! The People’s Republic of China is surging to a leading world power under the leadership of the Communist Party, and no one is hiding the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong behind curtains,” Kurginyan emphasized.
The same thing is happening with the Kim Il Sung Mausoleum in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV), he noted. And these countries are developing, “which means the problem is not communism being such a dead-end ideology as it was claimed to be,” the political scientist stressed.
Kurginyan recalled that capitalism was declared to be the common future. And now American billionaire Peter Thiel and his associates insist that “Silicon Valley does not need democracy.” The founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Klaus Schwab, also speaks about techno-feudalism.
“These voices are clearly heard from the other side. You see, the masters speak a different language, and the servants, including the Russian elite, continue to speak this [liberal-democratic – Rossa Primavera News Agency] language,” Kurginyan emphasized.
According to Kurginyan, this is happening because, first and foremost, the Russian elite has learned this language; secondly, it loves it; and thirdly, it does not know any other. And “fourthly, there is something else that stimulates this,” noted the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
