Iran restricts internet access

Iranian authorities have temporarily restricted internet access, the Iranian Ministry of Information and Communications Technology announced on June 18.

Given the ongoing special circumstances in which the country finds itself, as well as the aggressor’s use of communication networks for military purposes and the threat to the lives of the population <…>, internet access has been temporarily restricted,” the ministry said in a statement.

It is reported that the internet is working intermittently in Tehran.
