The Russian Armed Forces carried out a combined strike on a Ukrainian airbase in Rovno Region, stated Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev underground resistance, on June 9, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“A herd of aircraft down in the Rivne Region,” Lebedev said.
He noted that aircraft from this airfield regularly launched sorties with long-range missiles. Additionally, NATO instructors were reportedly training Ukrainian pilots at the site.
The Telegram channel War Correspondents of the Russian Spring reported that early on the morning of June 9, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine. Targets included the Rovno Region, Rovno, and Dubno.
