The issues of Kursk region restoration were discussed at a meeting in Pyongyang between Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu and DPRK State Affairs Chairman Kim Jong-un, the press service of the Security Council apparatus reported on June 4.
“Shoigu and Kim Jong-un discussed the prospects for the restoration of the Kursk region,” the publication said.
The parties also considered the issues of immortalizing the memory of the feat of the Korean warriors who participated in the liberation of the Kursk region from the invading Ukrainian formations. They paid special attention to the issues of the Russian president’s message to the head of the DPRK, the press service added.
The meeting participants also thoroughly discussed a wide range of issues on the international agenda, including the situation around Ukraine.
