Russian Armed Forces liberate village of Andreevka in Sumy Region

Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Andreevka in Sumy Region from Ukrainian militants, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“Units of the Group of Forces Sever liberated the village of Andreevka in Sumy Region as a result active actions,” the ministry stated in its briefing.

According to the report, Ukrainian militants in the area of responsibility of the Group of Forces Sever lost over 30 persons, eight armored vehicles, six trucks, and four artillery pieces in the past 24 hours. Russian troops also destroyed two ammunition depots.

On June 1, Russian units dislodged Ukrainian militants from the village of Alekseevka in Sumy Region. On May 31, they liberated the village of Vodolagi in the same region.
