The schadenfreude and “hellish joy” with which Ukraine reacted to the blowing up of bridges in the Kursk and Bryansk regions reveal the sickness of Ukrainian society, which must be overcome as a result of the special military operation, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a conversation with journalists, TASS reports on June 1.
“The reaction in Ukraine is striking, which, in my opinion, reveals the very sickness that the SVO aims to overcome. Look at the schadenfreude, look at the hellish joy among politicians, public figures, and those who have apparently been infected by this ideology,” the diplomat said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry representative called the terrorist attacks in the Kursk and Bryansk regions a tragedy. According to her, all necessary investigative measures are being taken at the sites of the incidents.
Zakharova called what happened a tragedy.
She added that on June 1, International Children’s Day, all reasonable people, regardless of their circumstances, sympathize or try to help in any way they can.
“We are seeing yet another example of the dehumanization of those whom this very neo-Nazi ideology is turning from people into something incomprehensible,” Zakharova concluded.
As a reminder, on the night of June 1, in the Bryansk region, as a result of an explosion, a road bridge collapsed onto the Klimov-Moscow passenger train.
Seven people were killed, 71 were injured, three of them seriously.
Also, a railway bridge collapsed in the Kursk region during the night. The driver of a freight train, which was traveling on the railway at that moment, was injured.
