Germany may transfer Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said in an interview with ZDF on May 29.
“Of course, it’s within the realm of possibility,” Merz said, commenting on the potential missile transfer.
However, he emphasized that using these missiles requires extensive training and preparation, which means the Ukrainian fighters will not be able to use them in the near future.
“If we deliver them in six months or a year, it won’t help Ukraine today,” Merz added.
Earlier, Merz announced that Germany had lifted range restrictions on the use of weapons supplied to the Kiev regime.
