Germany is prepared to continue supplying weapons to the Kiev regime if the conflict persists, declared German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul at a press conference in London on May 12.
Wadephul stated that Germany has always clearly demonstrated its readiness to continue arms deliveries.
The head of Germany’s foreign ministry noted that the majority of Bundestag deputies have expressed their support for supplying weapons. Additionally, Wadephul pledged to allocate an extra €3 billion in aid if necessary.
According to Germany’s Institute for the World Economy, over the past three years Germany has allocated aid amounting to 0.2% of its GDP. Together with other European countries — including the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland — Germany has spent €62 billion on military and €70 billion on humanitarian aid to the Kiev regime.
