The conflict in Ukraine due to its complexity cannot be settled overnight, as Washington wishes, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said April 30, speaking at the federal educational marathon “Knowledge. The First.”
Peskov read at the telemarathon “Knowledge. First” lecture ”Liberation of the world from Nazism. The Role of the USSR.”
He, in particular, mentioned about the settlement of the current conflict in Ukraine.
“We understand that Washington wants to achieve rapid success in this process, but at the same time we hope for understanding that the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis is too complex to be solved overnight,” Peskov said.
The presidential spokesman explained that the settlement requires resolving of, as he said, “a lot of details and a lot of small nuances.”
On April 27, the US President Donald Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social that Ukraine’s demands for Russia to return territories, including, Crimea, are preposterous.
