Russian President Putin did not give an order to extend the Easter ceasefire, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated to TASS on April 20.
The ceasefire will end at 00:00 on April 20.
Russian President Putin announced the Easter ceasefire during a meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. The ceasefire was scheduled from 6:00 p.m. on April 19 to 00:00 p.m. on April 21.
The Easter holiday in 2025 is celebrated on April 20.
