The Russian army launched a missile strike targeting a gathering of Ukrainian Armed Forces command staff and foreign instructors, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on April 4.
The strike hit a restaurant in Krivoy Rog where Ukrainian officers and foreign instructors had assembled for a meeting.
“At 6:49 p.m., a high-precision missile with high-explosive warheads struck the venue of the meeting involving Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders and Western instructors in one of Krivoy Rog’s restaurants,” the Russian Defense Ministry stated.
The attack resulted in up to 85 casualties among Ukrainian military personnel and their Western allies, along with the destruction of approximately 20 vehicles.
