Yemen’s Houthis attack Ben Gurion Airport in Israel’s capital

23.03.2025, Doha.

Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv was hit by a hypersonic ballistic missile, announced Yahya Saree, a spokesperson for Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, on March 23 during a broadcast on Al Masirah TV.

He specified that the strike was carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type.

In his statement, Saree referred to Tel Aviv as the occupied area of Jaffa.

The Houthis suspended attacks on Israeli territory in January following the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip. However, the resumption of hostilities prompted the group to return to active military actions against Israel.
