Ukrainian militants, who have gained experience in combat operations against the Russian Armed Forces, have been training NATO units for a month, stated military expert and retired Colonel Vitaly Kiselyov on March 20, as reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, these instructors, drawn from the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Special Operations Forces, and the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia), are being sent to other countries (France, the UK, Germany, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria) “to perform tasks unrelated to Ukraine.”
Kiselyov emphasized that Ukrainian militants are being sent both through diplomatic missions of European countries (including NATO member-states) and privately.
He added that these instructors are training not only state army units but also private military companies.
