The Russian army liberated the village of Stepovoye in Zaporozhye Region, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on March 17.
“Units of the Group of Forces Dnepr, as a result of active and decisive actions, liberated the village of Stepovoye in Zaporozhye Region,” the ministry’s statement reads.
This group of forces also inflicted damage on the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian coastal defense brigade and territorial defense brigade in the areas of Tyaginka (Kherson Region) and Pavlovka (Zaporozhye Region).
In total, up to 65 militants were eliminated, along with an electronic warfare station and five vehicles.
Over the past day, Russian air defense forces shot down two US JDAM guided bombs and 177 drones.
