In the West, democratic and leftist movements have greatly deteriorated, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on February 15 on the Right to Know program on the TVC channel.
According to the political scientist, “Trumpism” cannot be discussed without considering the forces that oppose it. “We must acknowledge with deep regret the enormous degradation of the Western democratic movement — massive, unprecedented; and the colossal decay of the leftist movement,” Kurginyan emphasized.
According to the political scientist, the contemporary Western pseudo-leftist movement has become “a certain disgusting blend of something that even carries a name of neo-neo-Trotskyism, or something similar.” The leftist movement has degenerated into a half-insane, anti-human idiocy, which can only be viewed with huge regret, Kurginyan believes.
In this regard, one has to admit that democracy has degenerated into postmodernism with awful, monstrous ideas, and disregard for all the basic meanings of real democracy, the philosopher explained.
Kurginyan noted that, in essence, one must forget about the Roosevelt and Kennedy eras. No matter how far these politicians were from their Hollywood images, they were persons who had humanistic principles and firmly believed in human. “Biden’s” and “Obama’s” democracy is seeking to destroy human, it leads to dehumanization. At the same time, the US Democrats themselves are talking about the end of “Man” as the humanistic project, Kurginyan reminded.
“And in this regard, conservatism is the most decent, the most, well, human-like, if I may say so, it is, well, it does not cause this deepest feeling of moral, existential, anthropological disgust. This is indeed the case for today. No doubt about it,” the political scientist said.
Compared to Biden’s Democrats, Trump’s team that came to power looks more attractive, energetic and alive, Kurginyan noted.
