The U.S. aircraft carrier Harry Truman and military ships in the Red Sea have already been attacked with missiles and drones in response to strikes on Yemen, stated the Shiite military-political movement Ansar Allah, which rules in northern Yemen, on March 16 on its Telegram channel.
“In response to the aggression, we conducted a military operation against the aircraft carrier Harry Truman in the Red Sea and military ships. The aircraft carrier and ships were hit in the northern Red Sea by 18 ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones,” the message said.
The Houthis threatened that in response to aggression, they would attack all US military ships in the Red and Arabian Seas.
On the night of March 16, strikes were carried out on various provinces in the north and center of Yemen. According to the Houthi government’s Ministry of Health, more than 30 people were killed and over 100 were injured. The strikes were carried out by US aircraft.
