Russian soldiers completely liberated Sudzha in Kursk Region, the Telegram channel Shot wrote on March 12.
According to the channel, the Ukrainian armed units practically left Sudzha. Remnants of Ukrainian militants are retreating. A cleanup operation is underway in the city.
“Our aerial reconnaissance identifies where the Ukrainian militants leaving the city and separated from their units might be – after which strikes are immediately carried out against them,” the message states.
It is also reported that the Ukrainian armed units left behind significant number of NATO equipment, which may be mined. Russian military personnel are thoroughly checking all houses and basements. Residents of the town are leaving their shelters.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian flag was raised on the central square near the city administration building in Sudzha.
