Russian troops cut off supply routes for the Ukrainian armed units in Kursk Region, a Ukrainian militant confirmed, The Washington Post reported on March 11.

The publication cites the words of a Ukrainian militant serviceman from the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian armed units, with the call sign “Krym.” The militant noted the complexity of the situation in Kursk Region.

The Ukrainian militant confirmed that the situation is difficult because the Russian army control the logistics routes.

He added that the events of recent weeks have left Ukrainian militants feeling as if they are in an unreal situation. According to the militant, they feel as though they are in some kind of surreal TV show, not in reality.

In recent weeks, Russia has intensified efforts to liberate Kursk Region, which is occupied by the Ukrainian armed units. On March 11, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that units of the Group of Forces Sever, during offensive operations, liberated 12 villages and over 100 square kilometers of territory in Kursk Region.
