The head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky staged a show during negotiations with US President Donald Trump because he felt the support of groups behind him, without which he could not remain in power, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated on March 7 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio.
The political scientist noted that Zelensky’s negotiations with Trump were a show, a political performance. At the same time, he pointed out that Zelensky understood that a show was necessary; otherwise, he would never have performed it.
“He would have checked five times whether to come in a tie or in military attire, whether to speak softly or harshly; whether to sit, nod his head, and say ‘yes-yes-yes’ or to get angry. This was very carefully analyzed, not just for the domestic audience, although that is very important, but also for the external audience. ‘I’m going there. What should I do? Tell me, advise me’ – he felt certain support behind his back,” Essence of Time’s leader commented on the actions of the head of the Kiev regime.
At the same time, Kurginyan clarified that the support Zelensky felt was twofold. He also drew attention to the attitude of Ukrainian society towards this kind of show.
“I am convinced that his performance in the Oval Office caused jubilation in those key groups on which Zelensky depends and which are important for him to maintain power in Ukraine. He became the idol of these groups, and he worked for them. This is a combination of certain Banderite-like ideas about reality (they have already burned Trump effigies) with a specific Ukrainian swagger,” the political scientist said.
Kurginyan emphasized the importance of this swagger in certain Ukrainian groups, for whom the most important thing is that “our fellow showed him,” “our fellow really showed him, he is hilarious.” At the same time, as the political scientist noted, Zelensky would never bet only on these groups, but he understands that without them, he is nothing – he realized this when he came to power.
“And he realized that the Banderites would need five days to get rid of him. They would get even with him for everything, including his origins and everything else – and he would be finished off. Then he took the lead among them, but during his election campaign, he shouted that he was ‘pro-Russian, pro-Russian, pro-Russian’ – they let him do that. He immediately converted and became what he is now,” Essence of Time’s leader explained.
Kurginyan clarified that for Zelensky, the passion for shows has turned into a bloody show – one of the bloodiest in human history. The head of the Kiev regime, according to the political scientist, understands that these groups will overthrow him regardless of elections if he becomes useless in their eyes.
“He will come in a tie, start bowing, and they [the Banderites] will tell him ‘get out!’ – they will say it internally. He understands that he must maintain his swagger just to survive internally. And then, after that, he can shift one way or another,” Kurginyan said.
