Kurginyan: Trump will put on a micro show instead of solving the problem

08.03.2025, Moscow.

US President Donald Trump will make a micro show out of big issues, instead of really solving serious problems, political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on January 30 in an interview with the Belarusian TV channel BelTA.

According to him, it is quite easy to make statements that will be popular with, if not all, then a great many US citizens.

Everyone is touched as long as you tell those US citizens who support you that they will have clean cities again, without crimes, with people speaking one language — English — and, if possible, also belonging to the white population with [a relatively small] admixture of others,” Kurginyan noted.

Of course, California or New York would say, “we dont want this, were used to a different life,” but some part of the country, “provincial, more conservative, and in a sense – healthy,” would support Trump’s idea, the expert specified.

But how will Trump move from this painted utopia to reality? the political scientist asked. He explained that for this to happen it would be necessary to “put 10 million people in prison buses with bars on them, and take them somewhere: to some temporary camps first and only then to other countries that are also not eager to accept back the criminal elements who emigrated earlier.

But then television would immediately begin broadcasting footage to the entire US of “devastated mothers with crying little childrenbeing herded with German shepherds and machine guns into buses with bars on them,” Kurginyan emphasized. These crying children will be shown in close-up and they will stretch out their hands and shout, “Save us!.

For the US to overcome all this, it must not be the US of 2025, it must be the US of a different era, way back when it lived through the hard times, the US that withstood the deportation or relocation of Japanese to internment camps – and even then it was accomplished with difficulty, although a war was going on at the time, the political scientist noted.

In other words, Trump “does not have either truly strong intelligence services, prepared for anything, something similar to what Beria had in the 1930s in the Soviet Union; or a population that would cheer such policies; or some kind of internal courage on the part of his inner circle, which is not monolithic; or even the elites, in order to implement the declared utopia into reality, the expert specified.

Therefore, Trump “starts scratching his head and thinking: Yes, this is my great dream, I need to achieve it, but at the moment I need to deport some Colombian criminals, show a few prison buses, nominate a bunch of people to government positions and make a micro show of big issues,” the political scientist added.

Such a micro show “will be nice, and then something good will happen to Trump in the next midterm elections,” and in the meantime his “big show, which is no longer viewed as such, will generate such instability and such internal psychological and political turmoil that the democratic government led by Trump will not be able to solve it,” the analyst explained.

Naturally, the US president will address small problems wherever a major problem needs to be solved, “which will look impressive on the screen, but will come at no cost…,” Kurginyan concluded.
