In spite of US President Donald Trump’s conservative agenda, there must be no illusions that the US will really return to traditional values, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on February 7 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
The political scientist explained that the US conservatives demonstrate some signs of something normally humane, but they have absolutely no intention to lead America towards a complete return to traditional values.
“We must have no illusions that this is a return to any traditional values. I have already said that some [Vice-president JD] Vance, who is now more important than Trump, is led by billionaire Thiel who quite openly declares his perversive nature,” Sergey Kurginyan reminded.
He also noted that a return of the US to traditional values is beyond the plans of whole groups of billionaires “who have really gone mad about new technologies, the domination of these technologies, the possibility of governing the world through these technologies etc.”
According to the supporters of these technologies, there is nothing bad in replacing human work with the work of robots.
Kurginyan stressed that, in spite of any Trump’s effort, “good old America” will never come back. “The greatest catastrophe, I think to the world and definitely to me personally, is the total destruction of the America of Faulkner, Hemingway, Roosevelt, and even Kennedy, with all reservations,” he stressed.
The political scientist explained that Trump confronts the post-modernist mutation of America, but he asked, “Will Trump rule long?”
Peter Thiel is a billionaire from the Silicon Valley, a legendary financier and co-founder of PayPal, one of the first investors and current member of the board of directors of Facebook (banned in Russia), a graduate of Stanford, dedicated libertarian.
In 2016 at a congress of the Republicans Thiel openly declared his alternative orientation.
