The European Union will sooner or later have to fulfill its part of the deal and send troops to Ukraine, stated Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski on February 15 at the Munich Security Conference.
Sikorski recalled U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement that the EU, as part of the deal to ensure Ukraine’s security, would need to deploy European troops to the conflict zone.
The Polish Foreign Minister emphasized that so sooner or later, the EU states will have to intervene.
In the minister’s opinion, sending troops should be considered, as the time for peace negotiations on Ukraine has not yet come.
