A peculiar kind of imperialism has come to power in the US, and it has decided to conquer the world with a powerful army and nuclear weapons, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 24 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio station.
Despite the fact that conservative-type imperialists came to power in the US, which, unlike those in the US Democratic Party, want to keep traditional values and, “look more like humans”, Russia “won’t get anywhere” with them, the political scientist emphasized.
“These are cowboys who believe that they should conquer the whole world with nuclear weapons and the most powerful army,” the analyst added.
Now the new US government will need to strengthen itself in order to then “pressure others” and “make America great again”, Sergey Kurginyan noted. This is an old slogan that has been previously declared in the US, the analyst recalled.
“I remind you that US presidents really wanted to correct Lyndon Johnson’s mistake, who got involved into Vietnam. But the following US president, Richard Nixon, who tried to create a counter-course for reconciliation, could not do this for a very long time, and only got involved into this Vietnamese mess more and more,” the political scientist said. According to him, the slogan was already in use back then.
A specific type of “US imperialism with the idea that humans should be humans, that they should pray to God” came to power in the US, the analyst noted.
“Everything stays normal. If you are a black person – you are a black, if you are a Latino person – you are a Latino, if you are an illegal – get out. Force above all, you can only act from a position of force, we will take Greenland, we will take Canada. These claims are not as ridiculous as they seem,” Sergey Kurginyan added.
He also stressed that the new government in the US has become the richest US government in a very long time, with “the largest number of billionaires, and the highest incomes for members of the government.”
