An attempted counter offensive by the Ukrainian troops in the direction of Cherkasskaya Konopelka and Ulanok in Kursk Region was foiled by troops of the “North” group, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on February 7.
“A total of eight waves of attacks were repelled,” the report indicated.
It is also reported that during the week Russian troops hit personnel and equipment of “heavy mechanized, six mechanized, three airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian troops, a marine infantry brigade and four territorial defense brigades.”
