Kurginyan: Israel and Turkey are digging their own grave by strengthening radicals in Syria

Israel and Turkey supporting the radical Islamists’ operation to seize Syria do not understand that they are digging their own grave, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 13 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.

“The Israeli, like mad, are making a radical Sunni sea instead of some Shia things that they hate. Which hates them hundred times more than the Shia do. And which will be huge and homogeneous. They have taken a shovel and are monotonously digging their own grave,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.

Turkey, as is strengthens radical Islamists in Syria, is also making serious problems for itself, the political scientist noted.

“Does Erdoğan believe he has won? Well, good luck to him. Will the Turks be friends with the Arabs? What kind of a short joke is that? Why did the Ottoman Empire fail? Because the Arabs have their own idea of a khalifate. Does he [Erdoğan] want to counterpose the Turan khalifate to the Arab one? But they have their own one. As soon as they establish a khalifatist chaos and that kind of a sea, it will quickly produce a leviathan of the Arab khalifatism,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.

The analyst noted that a similar pattern, when for the sake of some temporary results moves are made that in longer term can lead to a catastrophe, can be seen in Iran’s policy.

“The same is true for Iran. The greatest terrorist operation is the assassination of the president of Iran. Will all the domains. Now no one can say it was not an assassination. They just keep silence. Replacing the helicopters and other strange things are too indicative,” he explained. “Does the regime not know how to change the supreme authority and what will take place there?”

Sergey Kurginyan stressed that the USA is deliberately preparing “a collapse of all this secular Modernity with its humanism” and that it is this collapse that is “cultivating a khalifatist counter-Modernity.”

“What resisted it [the khalifatist counter-Modernity] is dying. It is becoming sluggish, bureaucratic, and moderately corrupt at the same time,” the analyst explained.

The political scientist also stressed that the Americans are wrong when they think that “all this will eventually be directed against China and Russia.”
