The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin announced the restoration of the town of Kurakhovo, Rossiya 24 TV channel informed on January 9.
Pushilin said that Kurakhovo, located in the Donetsk People’s Republic, was badly damaged during the liberation from the Ukrainian militants. However, the head of the region noted that it is already possible to say that the town’s restoration begins soon.
“The town was damaged badly enough. Undoubtedly, specialists will give an understanding on the restoration, but we can already say based on the location of the town… that Kurakhovo will be restored,” Pushilin said.
On January 6, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army completely liberated the town.
