The Russian Defense Ministry said on January 6 that the complete liberation of Kurakhovo deprived Kiev of the ability to shell the civilian population in Donetsk with artillery.
As a result of a significant offensive by the Russian Group of Forces Yug, the town of Kurakhovo, the largest town in the southwestern Donbass, was fully liberated.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the liberation of Kurakhovo deprived the Kiev regime of the ability to launch artillery attacks on the peaceful population in Donetsk, the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
