The Kalashnikov defense concern presented the new KUB-10E kamikaze drone with improved capabilities, CEO Alan Lushnikov announced in an interview with TASS on December 23.
The KUB-10E strike drone, developed by the Kalashnikov Concern, has increased range and firepower compared to previous models. According to the company’s CEO, the kamikaze drone can be used “to target enemy unarmored military equipment and armored personnel carriers, command posts, air and missile defense systems, radio reconnaissance and electronic warfare installations, and logistical support facilities.”
The new drone can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h, is launched from a catapult, and can ascend to an altitude of up to 2,500 meters.
