A reason why the Syrian crisis took place is that the Syrian army was relaxed and unready for a very well-prepared, and besides tremendously funded, international operation, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 7 on the program Right to Know on channel TVC.
“This is an international, very well-prepared operation with tremendous funding, absolutely new technologies etc. This is a new kind of an army,” the analyst stressed.
Sergey Kurginyan indicated that the militants would not have succeeded so much in seizing Syrian territories “if the opposite side had not demonstrated facile optimism and certain relaxedness.”
Besides, the Syrian soldiers refused to adopt the contemporary experience of the Ukrainian conflict, the analyst stressed.
“And we cannot overemphasize our influence here. We had a strong influence, we helped very much, and we actually saved certain Syrian leaders etc. And that was right. But they have their own temper. Their own things, their own desire to play towards Iran while drifting away from us, then towards the West a little, and then towards elsewhere,” the political scientist explained.
He added that they should have remained on alert, adopted the enemy’s methods, but not relaxed. “But relaxedness became really high, despite any warnings, from our experts as well. Then they [the terrorists] attacked,” Sergey Kurginyan noted.
