Influential Western think tanks have changed their rhetoric on nuclear war, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on November 15 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
The political scientist indicated that all significant global and US intellectual centers “have changed their nuclear war rhetoric in a tremendous yet absolutely unnoticed in Russia manner.”
“Previously it was ‘what a horror it is,’ nuclear [night],’ ‘we will all die,’ ‘nuclear war is an infinite death for the humanity,’ but now something different is taking place,” he stressed.
According to the political scientist, practical outcome of a nuclear strike is now discussed. For example, to what level the production of rice would fall due to negative climatic changes.
“This fall would reportedly be 35%. And then a discussion of each agricultural crop follows. Level of migration from cities is discussed,” he added.
Sergey Kurginyan noted that all serious people and think tanks with major contracts from the Pentagon, the CIA, and the UN have begun to discuss nuclear war from a technological point of view.
“The paradigm has changed. ‘Let my mother and peace be forever’ – all this is gone now, totally gone. This horror story that kept the world, mythological to some extent and serious at the same time, the horror story that if we make a strike like that everything will be destroyed, it is now gone,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement concluded.
