Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces took control of a village located north of the town of Kurakhovo, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said on December 7.
The press service said that units of the Group of Forces Tsentr of the Russian Armed Forces, continuing to advance with battles deep into the defense of the Ukrainian armed units, took control of the village of Berestki in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Berestki is located north of the town of Kurakhovo on the bank of the Kurakhovskoye water reservoir. The distance from Kurakhovo to Berestki is just over 2 kilometers.
The Russian army advanced near the towns of Selidovo and Kurakhovo, liberating two villages from the Ukrainian occupation forces.
