01.12.2024, Moscow.

Over the autumn of 2024, the Russian Armed Forces liberated 88 towns and villages in Ukraine, according to assessments by TASS based on updates from the Russian Ministry of Defense, reported on December 1.

The liberated towns and villages are located in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in Kursk, Zaporozhye, and Kharkov Regions. The Tsentr Group of Forces liberated 37 settlements, the Vostok Group of Forces liberated 13, the Sever Group of Forces liberated 14, the Yug Group of Forces liberated 16, and the Zapad Group of Forces liberated eight.

The villages of Razdolnoye and Vorovskoye were taken under control by the Russian army recently, on November 29. Over the past week, three villages in the Donetsk People’s Republic were liberated.

Furthermore, there is increasing discussion in the West about the successes of the Russian army and the perception that the West is losing its stance in the Ukraine conflict. However, according to Irish journalist Chay Bowes, Western media often misinform their readers by downplaying Russian military achievements.
