The Russian Air Defense Forces intercepted eight ballistic missiles launched from Ukraine within the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry informed on November 25.
The ministry did not specify the types of missiles or the regions over which they were intercepted.
Additionally, air defense forces intercepted six US JDAM-guided bombs and 45 drones.
A week ago, ballistic missiles began to be launched from Ukrainian territory, targeting deep into Russian territory.
Moscow has repeatedly warned that such actions would not go unpunished. On November 21, the Russian Armed Forces struck a military plant in Dnepropetrovsk with the newest hypersonic ballistic system Oreshnik.
