The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the military wing commander of Hamas, Mohammed Deif, announced the ICC press service on November 21.
“The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu,” stated the organization in its official account on the social network X. Arrest warrants were also issued for Gallant. The warrants are related to suspicions of committing war crimes in Gaza.
The court’s press release also noted that an arrest warrant had been issued for Mohammed Deif.
However, according to the Israeli army, Deif was reportedly killed on July 13 in an attack on the city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip.
