Communism as an idea for ascension of Man is the only possible alternative to today’s postmodernism, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 7 in his address on the anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
According to him, “communism as a new form of humanism, with its regard to history as a highest value and a new Man is the only possible alternative to the monstrous construct of a certain animal farm, human ant-hill or something else where Man will be eventually crushed.”
Due to the rejection of communism as an idea, modern humanity risks sliding into “something so dark that we cannot even comprehend,” Sergey Kurginyan noted.
“We celebrate November 7 because we believe that it is impossible to live without this and that it must return; because the most important, the only significant thing was thrown out: something that instilled hope in all of humanity after the horror of WWI; and it’s called the Great October,” the philosopher emphasized.
When we celebrate this day, we remember this very idea — the idea of a Man with a capital M, added Sergey Kurginyan.
“Congratulations, comrades! Happy holiday, friends! Let us celebrate the memory of this and our confidence that there is no alternative to the idea for ascension of Man, a Man with a capital M. Happy November 7! Happy anniversary to the Great – truly great – October Socialist Revolution!” — concluded the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
