UK intends to use Central Asia against Russia. Opinion

The UK intends to surround Russia with a chain of conflicts and destabilize the situation inside the country at the expense of migrants from Central Asia, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 584.

UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron toured five Central Asian states in late April. The purpose of his trip was to implement the new UK strategy of interaction with the former Soviet republics in the “C5+1” format to reduce the influence of Russia and China.

One of the main results of Cameron’s visit was the signing of an agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UK. In addition, Kyrgyzstan and the UK signed a roadmap for cooperation for 2024-2026. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said that his country considers the UK an important partner in Western Europe. Cameron announced the establishment of two new investment funds in Tajikistan.

“The UK elite has always attached great importance to Central Asia and the Middle East, but now it is clearly becoming one of the top priorities of the Foreign Office against Russia. The UK’s task is to surround Russia with a chain of conflicts. And given the number of Central Asian migrants in Russia, it won’t be that difficult to destabilize the domestic political situation inside the country,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
