NATO instructors on the territory of several countries are training mercenaries and saboteurs for anti-Russian operations, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said in an interview with Argumenty i Fakty on April 2.
“NATO instructors on the territory of several countries are training mercenaries and saboteurs for their participation in anti-Russian operations,” Patrushev told reporters.
According to the Security Council secretary, NATO has become a de facto party to the conflict in Ukraine. The alliance is actively involved in organizing attacks on Russian territories by Ukrainian militants and decides on new deliveries of weapons with enhanced combat capabilities to Kiev.
NATO member states are supplying Ukraine with weapons to counter the Russian military special operation in Donbass. Among them are US large-calibre artillery systems and high-precision HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, Abrams tanks, as well as German Leopard tanks.
Anti-tank systems, small arms and air defense equipment are also being supplied to Ukraine.
