Putin instructs to help Russkiy Kupol with production of UAV detection systems

Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade must assist Russkiy Kupol JSC with the production of drone detection and suppression systems, given the need to increase the share of domestic components, according to the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, published by the press service of the leader of the state on April 1.

The president expects to receive a report on the mtter by April 27, 2024. He appointed Denis Manturov, deputy prime minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the person in charge.

Putin also instructed the government, together with the executive bodies of the Donetsk, Lugansk, Belgorod, Zaporiozhye and Kherson Regions, to ensure the protection of ambulances and ambulance crews working within a 15-kilometer zone from the front. This requires that medics have personal protective equipment, as well as transport protection measures, including electronic warfare equipment.
