22.03.2024, Belgrade.

Western intelligence services had information about possible terrorist attacks in Russia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on March 22 on Prva TV channel.

“On March 7, the US embassy urged its citizens not to visit the shopping center. Then the UK and someone else did the same. This means that their intelligence services intercepted certain negotiations, received information and knew that something would happen,” Vucic said.

Vucic also expressed his condolences to the citizens and leadership of Russia and hoped that the terrorists will be brought to justice as soon as possible and this will never happen again.

The Serbian president called a meeting of the country’s national security council for March 23 in light of the tragedy in Russia.

On March 22, a group of armed men attacked the Crocus City Hall and started shooting visitors with firearms. It is reported about dozens of people killed, there are wounded.

According to the Russian Federal Security Service, 40 people were killed, and more than 100 people were injured. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the terrorist attack.
