If Russia wants to win the ongoing positional war it has to change its concept of warfare, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher, analyst and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on March 7 in a new issue of his original broadcast Destiny.
According to the political scientist, people previously supposed that Russia could move from the Special Military Operation towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict. However, this path is now increasingly problematic.
According to Kurginyan, if this way proves absolutely impossible, Russia will have to hold out for a very long time under great pressure, which will increase. The political scientist noted that in such conditions the situation can only be pivoted to our advantage “by an overwhelming growth of our military defense potential.”
“We need to put our country on a war footing beyond the extent to which it has been done so far,” the leader of Essence of Time said. He added that what was done was done right within the concept that existed.
“For this concept (the previous concept – Rossa Primavera News Agency) not a single mistake was made, everything was done perfect! Foreign policy is absolutely fine, we are maneuvering and searching for allies, none of these allies are reliable, but it is not a problem, our domestic policy is fine, we have our public’s support, economy and finance are fine, and our defense industry is growing,” Kurginyan said.
He indicated, however, that this concept was good for the situation that implied a soon end of the war with certain outcome giving us “a compensation prize in Ukraine or elsewhere.”
However, according to the political scientist, this situation will never happen, because the West refuses to lose in Ukraine. And a long-term positional war requires a different concept.
